The COSMA Student Scholarship & Grant are intended to advance student scholarship in the field of sport management. The COSMA Student Scholarship & Grant will be awarded annually and are available to students enrolled full-time at a COSMA-accredited program. The COSMA Student Scholarship will be awarded annually to an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at a COSMA-accredited program, in high-academic standing (minimum 3.5 GPA), that demonstrates a dedication to improving sport management education. The COSMA Student Scholarship is a one-time, up to $1500 scholarship allotment intended to offset tuition, fees, or supplies related to attaining a degree. Scholarship applicants will be required to complete a 500-word statement on the impact they plan to have on sport management. Future career aspirations, volunteer opportunities, and innovative ideas are just some of the many topics Scholarship applicants can address. Statements should include information regarding how the COSMA Student Scholarship will contribute to student's impact on sport management industry. |
The COSMA Student Grant will be awarded annually to a graduate student enrolled full-time at a COSMA-accredited program, in high-academic standing (minimum 3.5 GPA), that demonstrates a dedication to improving sport management education through scholarly research. The COSMA Student Grant is a one-time, up to $3500 grant allotment intended to offset tuition, fees, or supplies related to attaining a degree. The student awarded the COSMA Student Grant will be required to present a research paper at the COSMA Conference in the academic year the grant is awarded. All COSMA Conference travel, hotel, and fees will be covered in addition to the value of the grant. Grant applicants will be required to submit a summary of their intended research, justification of budgetary needs, and anticipated timeline of study.
