Allen Jefferson - Resume
Summary of Areas of Specialization, Key Qualifications:
The framework of my studies advances my personal experience as a first-generation student-athlete, reflection of how various relationships create stress (intentionally or unintentionally), and understanding how and why student-athletes function in the void of existing student-athlete support systems. Research on the topic has provided an insightful perspective while relating my work experience in law enforcement, social work and coaching to understand better why some student-athletes are deciding to engage in at-risk behaviors, some that lead to Title IX violations.
