​The COSMA accreditation process benefited our program, faculty, students, and alumni greatly. Benefits include: 
            -  Enhanced curriculum (e.g., adding a new course in sport sales) 

            -  Raised program reputation and branding 

            -  Set strategic plan with goals and strategies for the program. 

            -  Cultivated student-centered opportunities (e.g., collaborative hands-on projects with industry organizations)

            -  Recognizing students by inducting them to Chi Sigma Mu student honor society."

What Sport Management Programs are "eligible" for accreditation? At an accredited (or similar) degree-granting institution 20/50 percent sport management content in associate's, bachelor's/ master's degrees Identifiable sport management academic unit/ program that has operational control of the degree(s) ​Member benefits can be found below ​ ​	​Who are organizational members? ​Education-related organizations and agencies (e.g., “Centers,” “Institutes”) Non-profit sport organizations (E.g., Girls on the Run, Black Girls Hockey Club, etc.) Sport foundations For-profit sport organizations Member benefits can be found below ​ ​ ​ ​ ​	Who are individual members? • Graduate students may run for COSMA's Student Director position on the Board of Directors.
• Get a faculty member to nominate you for induction into Chi Sigma Mu, COSMA's Student Honor Society.

• Apply for the Student Scholarship (undergraduate) or Student Grant (graduate).
• Get news and information about COSMA.
