In Your Words...
"It was nice to have Q&A sessions which complemented the videos." "The speakers thoroughly answered questions and engaged in conversation. The host also warmed up the speakers and guests by asking a series of questions to the speaker before opening it up to the guests." "The sessions were great, and the format was a good way to do a virtual conference. " "Loved this concept. It truly added to the experience and I recommend it again. Made me feel like I was at a conference again." "Truly appreciate having the chance to review and reflect on sessions in advance. This gave us time to generate a few questions or topics to discuss in the Q&A sessions." "Thank you for a rich few days of conversation!" |

Race and Equity
Diversity, equity and inclusion are essential components of COSMA as an organization within sport management and society. We have codified our orientation toward making the organization structurally and culturally anti-racist in its approach to the accreditation process and other activities. Please read our "Dear COSMA Community" letter for details or see updates on the homepage.

Response to COVID-19
As the sporting community continues to adapt to the changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, COSMA decided to hold a virtual conference in 2021. By going virtual, we can mitigate potential health concerns that arise from travel and budget restrictions to ensure opportunities to present and share research in a collaborative environment. While we cannot replicate the experience of an in-person conference, we have taken steps to ensure that opportunities to interact with one another are readily available. Plan for #COSMA2022 to be in-person in Houston, Texas!
